Blockchain-Enabled Transaction Scanning Method for Money Laundering Detection

Abstract: Currently, life cannot be imagined without the use of bank cards for purchases or money transfers; however, their use provides new opportunities for money launderers and terrorist organizations. This paper proposes a blockchain-enabled transaction scanning (BTS) method for the detection of anomalous actions. The BTS method specifies the rules for outlier detection and rapid movements of funds, which restrict anomalous actions in transactions. The specified rules determine the specific patterns of malicious act… Show more

“…[44]. Through node grouping technology, nodes are grouped together to provide the ability to set up items for nodes for each corresponding node group or to distribute chains and control roles [45]. By introducing the design of P2P concurrent communication structure between nodes through multichannel via node communication protocol and design of interchannel communication separation structure, we develop frameworks of internode communication through node grouping and multichannel.…”

“…By assigning each entity a unique ID, a dual identity is implemented for each entity in the blockchain and IoT network. In addition, through outlier detection, specific malicious activities can be identified [ 24 ]. By integrating blockchain and IoT systems, a transparent, flexible, and secure data transmission system can be achieved for a supply chain [ 25 ].…”

“…Recent areas of application of blockchain often researched in a scientific setting are numerous: [6][7][8][9][10]; distributed electricity markets [11]; healthcare monitoring [12][13][14][15]; money laundering detection [16]; privacy preservation [17][18][19]; vehicular communication [20]; network knowledge transformation [21]; intellectual rights protection [22]; secure wideband spectrum sensing and security enhancements [23,24]; real estate transactions [25]; pharmaceutical industry [26]; and federated learning [27]. Unfortunately, there are few papers on the application of blockchain technology in HE in this and other reference journals, which this article seeks to amend.…”
