Blood–Brain Barrier Pericytes Are the Main Source of γ‐Glutamyltranspeptidase Activity in Brain Capillaries

Abstract: Cerebral endothelial cells form the selective permeability barrier between brain and blood by virtue of their impermeable tight junctions and the presence of specific carrier systems.
