Bogomol'nyi equation of gravitating monopoles coupled to the dilaton

We present a simple geometric method for constructing stationary, axially symmetric solutions in gravity. The method is based on the potential space formalism and the assumption of holomorphic potentials. As examples, rotating solutions including the Kerr-Newman-Taub-NUT solution, the Gal'tsov-Kechkin solution and the Israel-Wilson-Perjès-type multi-centred solutions in Einstein-Maxwell theory and low-energy effective string theory are derived in a manifestly dual symmetric manner.
