Brilliance as Cognitive Complexity in Aboriginal Australia

Abstract: Writers on Australian Aboriginal ceremonial practices and contemporary commercial art have identified properties that can be described as producing 'brilliance', the term used by Howard Morphy (1989) for Yolngu visual art.
