Abstract:The Bromwich method for solving Maxwells equations is firstly introduced. This allows for establishing the grounds for reaching solutions in a number of different coordinate systems. Secondly, the cylindrical system is put, leading to a pertinent solution for cylindrical resonators. Next, practical procedures are described for identifying desired resonant mode and for rejecting the undesired ones. Finally, a TE O12 resonator is accomplished and the appropriate results are described.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
