Burns and Heat Injury

Abstract: Outcomes of burn patients have significantly improved over the last two decades. A recent study in The Lancet found that a burn size of over 60% of total body surface area is associated with high risks in paediatric patients, which has increased from 40% total body surface area a decade ago.
