C‐Phosphorylated Pyrrolylcarbaldehydes.

Abstract

Organo-phosphorus compoundsOrgano-phosphorus compounds S 0080 C-Phosphorylated Pyrrolylcarbaldehydes. -The application of an N,N-dimethylhydrazone protective group for the synthesis of C-phosphorylated aldehydes of the pyrrole series is studied. Removal of the hydrazone protection in monophosphorylated pyrrolylcarbaldehyde hydrazones occurs smoothly [→ (VII), (X)], while in biphosphorylated derivatives, it results in nitrile formation [→ (IV)]. -(IVONIN*, S.
