T h e layout of integrated circuits involves placing devices in a c h i p and interconnecting the devices.These terms are named placement and routing. However, conventional algorithms o n placement and routing emphasize on the initial construction of layout.Little concern is put on changes in placement and routing w h e n t h e r e i s adjustment on the circuit.In this paper, a new algorithm o n layout of digital I C is proposed.The method will save IC designers from re-designing IC layout due t o change in design requirement.
