“…This likely example of introduction from an adjacent drainage joins three others involving obligate freshwater fishes in northwestern California (Kinziger et al ., 2011, 2014, 2019). Combined with the fact that all four of these examples and many others offer evidence of successful establishment of populations by very few founders, single vicinal introduction events appear to deserve consideration in efforts to limit invasive species.…”
