Call Centers and Associated Health Hazard for Women Employees: A Review of Health Implications for Women Employees of Transnational Call Centers in India

Abstract: Indian women are fast moving from conventional jobs to night-shift jobs in transnational call centers. Women working at night is a relatively new phenomenon and stands apart from the usual Indian lifestyle. Night work and the dual burden of work and family have adverse implications on women employees’ physical and psychological health.
