Abstract:Carbamazepine-induced toxic epidermal necrolysis: the importance of HLA-B*1502 testing in at-risk populations prior to therapy initiation Dear Editor, A 31-year-old Han Chinese woman with a 3-month history of seizures treated with oral levetiracetam presented to an outside facility for continued seizures. Her outpatient neurologist added oral lacosamide and carbamazepine for seizure control.
