Carcinogenicity of Airborne Combustion Products Observed in Subcutaneous Tissue and Lungs of Laboratory Rodents

Abstract: Most air pollution in West Germany is caused by combustion products. Particulate organic matter released by incomplete combustion is suspected to contribute to the "urban factor" of lung cancer frequency in urban-industrial centers.
