CaRTS: Causality-driven Robot Tool Segmentation from Vision and Kinematics Data

Abstract: Vision-based segmentation of the robotic tool during robotassisted surgery enables downstream applications, such as augmented reality feedback, while allowing for inaccuracies in robot kinematics.
