Caseous Calcification of the Mitral Annulus

Abstract: Soft-tissue masses or mass-like lesions involving the mitral valve include a wide range of diseases such as tumors, abscesses, vegetations, thrombus and, rarely, caseous calcifications of the mitral annulus.
