Using flow cytometry, we also stained CD34+ cells for the leukocyte common antigen, CD45, and the adhesion molecules, PECAM-1 (CD31) and ICAM-2 (CD102), which are expressed at high levels on endothelial cells and at lower levels in some circulating CD45+ cells [34].
