Cell-in-the-loop pattern formation with optogenetically emulated cell-to-cell signaling

Abstract: Designing and implementing synthetic biological pattern formation remains a challenge due to underlying theoretical complexity as well as the difficulty of engineering multicellular networks biochemically.
