This study aims to determine the effect of the practice of passing through the wall individually and in pairs, high coordination and low coordination, the interaction effect between the practices of passing through the wall individually and in pairs and coordination (high and low) on the skills of receiving the first ball in the sepak takraw. This study is an experimental study using a 2 x 2 design. The research subjects were 24 student athletes of the PSTI Club, Sleman Regency. The data collection instrument used a measurement test. Data analysis using two-way Anova (Two Way Anova). The results showed that (1) there was a significant difference in the effect between the individual and paired methods of passing through the wall on the skills of receiving the first ball in the sepak takraw game. The practice method of passing to the wall in pairs is higher compared to the practice of passing to the wall individually on the skill of receiving the first ball in the sepak takraw game; (2) there is a significant difference in the effect of high coordination and low coordination on the skills of receiving the first soccer takraw ball. Athletes who have high coordination are better than low coordination on the skill of receiving the first takraw ball; and (3) there is a significant interaction between the individual and paired method of passing through the wall and coordination (high and low) on the skills of receiving the first ball of sepak takraw. “…Hasil tersebut dapat dikarenakan beberapa faktor antara lain: (1) kurang memadainya sarana dan prasarana yang ada; (2) jadwal ektrakurikuler yang diadakan sore hari sedangkan pada pagi harinya siswa juga melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga mengalami kelelahan; (3) kurang adanya dukungan dari pihak lain yang terkait dengan ektrakurikuler sepakraw dan (4) kurangnya variasi latihan yang menyebabkan siswa bosan dalam melakukan latihan. Hal ini perlu menjadi perhatian dan tindak lanjuti, sehingga siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ektrakurikuler dapat meraih prestasi yang membanggakan (Prayitno & Winarno, 2021); (Mashud & Abdillah, 2021); (Arimbawa et al, 2022); (Muhyi et al, 2021); (Mubin et al, 2015). Permasalahan yang terjadi di SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Gamping Yogyakarta pada olahraga sepak takraw adalah sebagian siswa ada yang belum terampil melakukan sepakmula, sepaksila, sepakkuda, heading, dan smash. Penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode surve. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak takraw di SD Negeri se Kecamatan Gamping, berjumlah 22 siswa yang ditentukan dengan purposive saampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes keterampilan dasar bermain Sepak takraw terdiri dari: tes sepakmula, sepaksila, sepakkuda, heading dan smash. Teknik analisis disini berbentuk presentase keterampilan bermain Sepak takraw di SD Negeri se Kecamatan Gamping Yogyakarta dengan hasil “sangat kurang” 0% (0 siswa), “kurang” 40,91% (9 siswa), “sedang” 31,82% (7 siswa), “tinggi” 18,18% (4 siswa), dan “sangat tinggi” 9,09% (2 siswa). Dengan nilai rata-rata 49,99 dengan hasil keterampilan bermain Sepak takraw di SD Negeri se Kecamatan Gamping Yogyakarta dalam kategori “sedang”.Sepak Takraw: How ability of state elementary school in the Covid-19 Pandemic?AbstractThe problem that occurs in public elementary schools throughout the Gamping District of Yogyakarta in the sport of sepak takraw is that some students are not yet skilled at soccer, soccer, horse soccer, heading, and smash. This research is descriptive quantitative with a survey method. The subjects in the study were all participants of the sepak takraw extracurricular at State Elementary Schools in Gamping District, totaling 22 students who were determined by purposive sampling. This research instrument uses the basic skills test method for playing sepak takraw consisting of soccer, soccer, horse, heading, and smash tests. The analysis technique here is in the form of a percentage of the skills of playing sepak takraw in SD Negeri in Gamping District, Yogyakarta with the results of "very poor" 0% (0 students), "less" 40.91% (9 students), "moderate" 31.82% (7 students), “high” 18.18% (4 students), and “very high” 9.09% (2 students). With an average value of 49.99 with the results of the skills of playing sepak takraw at State Elementary Schools throughout the Gamping District of Yogyakarta in the "medium" category.

The proposed study aimed to design and develop an "Electro-Pneumatic Sepak-Takraw Ball Pitching Device". It is primarily concerned with designing a device that can pitch a ball simultaneously from a specified height. It has a manual feature that makes the pitching being controlled by another player thru a set of pushbuttons, and an automatic feature that enables the Sepak-Takraw ball being launched simultaneously controlled via smart phone. After the series of trials, several alterations were made in the microcontroller program and mechanical design for the automatic and manual feature. Results revealed that the developed prototype passed all the requirements and recommended to be used training device. Also, researchers recommend some design considerations for the improvement of the device, and these were: to add more electronic features to the device; and to develop an automatic swing feature: up, down, left, and right to have a re time variety of pitching angles. Researchers also recommend an oil-less/ silent type compressor with the big reservoir to minimize noise, increased compressed air efficiency to effectively pitch the ball without delay, and decreased power consumption du to simultaneous pumping and use of compressed air.
