Abstract: A facile and efficient approach for the synthesis of multisubstituted tetrahydropyridazines starting from cyclopropyl ketones and hydrazines has been developed. The transformation is chalcone-based and takes place via a Cloke−Wilson-type rearrangement-involved tandem reaction catalyzed by TfOH in HFIP.
