Abstract:Summary
Arthritis in swine, produced by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, resulted in increased serum total protein and globulin levels. Increased plasma fibrinogen and serum viscosity also developed. A positive R‐A slide test occurred in severely affected animals. These changes could be correlated with the clinical signs and with the periods of exacerbation and remission.
