Ogletree, Glover, and Hu (1997) found that, among 16 respected health education journals, the average range of time needed for peer review was 6 to 24 weeks, with additional time needed for revisions when necessary. They found that the time needed to publish the manuscript after acceptance was 1 to 12 months, and in some cases, more than 12 months.…”
