Characteristics of Statically Indeterminate Symmetric Flexure Structures

Abstract: Statically indeterminate symmetric (SIS) flexure structures are symmetric structures with “clamped-clamped” boundary conditions. The static indeterminacy and topological symmetry significantly attenuate the parasitic motions associated with statically determinate flexure structures.
