“…lavandulifolia EO, characterized by very low amounts of caryophyllene oxide (0.9%), featured comparable inhibitory activity. In this case, the remarkable effectiveness of its EO could be due to the action of other leading compounds, such as α-humulene (9.7%), camphor (7.3%), and 1,8-cineole (5.2%), and its antibacterial activity has also been documented in the literature [39][40][41].
