Abstract:Six compounds were isolated from Gentiana farrerii, which was used as traditonal herb medicine in the treatment of some diseases. Their structures were identified as: linoleic acid(1), dibutyl-phthalate(2), p-hydroxy benzaldehyde (3), hydroxyacetophenone (4), isoscoparin (5), 5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxyflavone-6--D-glucopyranoside(6).
