Chemical Modification of Polyglycidyl Phenol-Formaldehyde Oligomers by Methacrylic Acid

Abstract: A new oligomer with unsaturated double bonds in the side chains has been synthesized via chemical modification of polyglycidyl phenol-formaldehyde oligomer (PGPFO) by methacrylic acid (MA) using benzyltriethylammonium chloride as a catalyst.
