Chemical N‐desulfation of heparin negates its ability to capacitate bovine spermatozoa

Abstract: Heparin specifically and saturably binds to bovine spermatozoa and stimulates capacitation as assessed by the ability of spermatozoa to undergo a zona pellucida-induced acrosome reaction (AR) in vitro.
