Abstract

A Facile Method for the Synthesis of the Li 0.3 La 0.57 TiO 3 Solid State Electrolyte. -Li 0.3 La 0.57 TiO 3 is prepared by forming a coagulated precursor solution with a highly homogeneous Li + , La 3+ , and TiO 2 nanoparticle mixture by dispersing stoichiometric amounts of TiO 2 in an aqueous LiO-Ac/La(O-Ac) 3 solution followed by freeze drying the coagulate and heating at 750 C for the removal of crystallization H 2 O and La/Li oxide formation. The grain and overall conductivities of the synthesized Li 0.3 La 0.57 TiO 3 are 10 -4 and 10 -5 S/cm, resp., and thus comparable to the literature values for the material prepared by other methods. -(ZHANG, Q.; SCHMIDT, N.; LAN, J.; KIM, W.; CAO*, G.; Chem.
