Abstract: Bei der durch Thiazoliumsalze wie (I) katalysierten Addition von Aldehyden von ungesättigten Ketonen wie (II) kann die Aldehyd‐Komponente durch α‐Ketosäuren ersetzt werden, die unter Decarboxylierung das gleiche Zwischenprodukt ergeben.
