Derivatives of Imidazoles. Part 43. Synthesis and Properties of 2-Cyanimino-1,3-dimethylimidazoline.-The synthesis of the title compound (III) is described and the crystal structure and properties of (III) are discussed. With Mo(CO) 6 (III) forms the carbonyl complex (ImNCN)Mo(CO) 5 .
