Abstract:High-Yield Lithiation of Azobenzenes by Tin-Lithium Exchange. -Transmetalation of Me 3Sn-substituted azobenzenes with MeLi results in a rapid and selective Li-Sn exchange. Subsequent quenching with electrophiles provides regioselective access to corresponding functionalized products including doubly and triply azobenzene functionalized ones. -(STRUEBEN, J.; LIPFERT, M.; SPRINGER, J.-O.; GOULD, C.
