Abstract:ChemInform is a weekly Abstracting Service, delivering concise information at a glance that was extracted from about 100 leading journals. To access a ChemInform Abstract of an article which was published elsewhere, please select a “Full Text” option. The original article is trackable via the “References” option.
“…By holding corona electrets in distilled water, it was established that their electret characteristics decrease considerably. Increase in the charge relaxation rate is connected with increase in the surface conductivity of the polymers and in the preferential relaxation of the homocharge in the surface and near-surface layers of the electret [13,14]. In other words, the effect of the electric field of film electrets on biodegradation weakens with the passage of time.…”
The influence of the state of polymeric materials on the process of their biodegradation was studied. The biodegradation of polyethylene-starch composites increases in intensity with increasing starch content.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
