Abstract: Der durch Reformatsky‐Reaktion von 7‐Brom‐crotonsäureäthylester mit Trimethylacetaldehyd dargestellte Hydroxyalkensäureester (I) (Ausbeute 36%) wird mit POCl3 in Pyridin bei 90°C zum Dien (II) (70%) dehydratisiert.
