Abstract:Synthesis of Alkaloid-Like Compounds via the Bridging Ritter Reaction. -10 Alkaloid-like compounds are prepared using alcohol (I) as starting product. The compounds are screened as AChE inhibitors and antimalarial agents. (VII) is the most active AChE inhibitor and compounds (VI), (VII), and (IXb) are considered to be significant for future development of antimalarial agents. -(HEMTASIN, C.; UNG*, A.
