ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Azobis(formamidoacetic acid) and Some of Its Derivatives.

Abstract: 093ChemInform Abstract Due to the insolubility of the title compound (III) in suitable solvents, its conversion to the corresponding acid chloride is only possible with PCl5/AcCl (see scheme). Reaction of this chloride with conc. ammonia gives the amide (V).
