Abstract: 1995 reduction, hydrogenation reduction, hydrogenation O 0220 28 -063 Transformation of Carboxylic Esters to Aldehydes with Sodium Tris( diethylamino)aluminum Hydride. -The new reducing reagent, sodium tris(diethylamino)aluminum hydride reduces esters to aldehydes more selectively and under milder conditions than lithium tris(diethylamino)aluminum hydride. -(CHA, J.
