Abstract: Synthesis of Apocarotenoides with a Shifted Methyl Group; Structure Elucidation of Citrus‐Carotenoides With regard to the investigation of the biosynthesis of the C30‐carotenoids in citrus fruits apocarotenoids with a methyl group shifted by one position (diapocarotenoids) were synthesized.
