Civil engineering Modification of response spectra by probabilistic approach

Abstract: RAVEN has been developed in a highly modular and pluggable way in order to enable easy integration of different programming languages (i.e., C++, Python) and, as already mentioned, coupling with any system code.

“…In order to perform advanced safety analysis, the RISMC project has a toolkit that was developed internally at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) using the Multiphysics Object Oriented Simulation Environment (MOOSE) [3] as the underlying numerical solver framework. This toolkit consists of the several software tools, which include:…”

“…If it is not computed by appropriated Burn-Up codes [24], its evolution, right after the scram, is generally modeled by user-input approximated exponential decay curves (Decay Power vs. time). In RELAP-7 (i.e., in its module CROW [3]), a set of predefined curves is already available. For this analysis, a curve characterized by the following equation has been employed:…”

“…Some approaches have been recently proposed in the nuclear community, which make use of sophisticated softwares that combine methodologies for risk assessment with very accurate thermohydraulic codes (Alfonsi et al, 2015;Alfonsi et al, 2016;Izquierdo et al, 2009), to perform the so-called Integrated Deterministic Probabilistic Safety Assessment (IDPSA) (Aldemir, 2013;Zio, 2014) or…”
