Cladieunicellin H, a New Hemiketal Eunicellin-Based Diterpenoid from the Octocoral Cladiella sp

Abstract: A new hemiketal eunicellin-based diterpenoid, cladieunicellin H (1), was isolated from an Indonesian octocoral identified as Cladiella sp. The structure of 1 was determined by spectroscopic methods. This compound was found to display moderate inhibitory effects on the generation of superoxide anion and the release of elastase by human neutrophils.
