“…Moreover, an interaction between materials and filling techniques was disclosed, emphasizing that Vitapex ® used with its proprietary syringe, as recommended by the manufacturer resulted in low number of internal voids and the lowest percentage of large voids (Table ). Of course, other factors may also influence the number and the size of voids in filling materials, such as the type, viscosity, and consistency of the paste, and these may justify the differences found among the different obturation materials tested in this study.…”

“…In this study, root filling was performed in specimens with identical root canal anatomy and by a single operator, which makes the technique more reproducible and results more consistent. In primary teeth, some authors found better results NaviTip™ system compared with lentulo or syringe method using Vitapex ® as obturating material and better results for pressure syringes compared with lentulo for delivering Endoflas . Important to note that both studies used low resolution, bidimensional, and subjective evaluation techniques.…”

“…Lentulo spiral exhibited the highest incidence of voids of 20%, and past injects, and pressure syringe exhibited 6.7% and 8.3 % respectively. (Gandhi et al, 2017).…”

“…To achieve good obturation, various obturation techniques have been proposed. (Gandhi et al, 2017;Mahajan and Bansal, 2015;Memarpour et al, 2013) Different authors have compared different obturation techniques, and the outcome of their studies vary with each other, and there is no standard gold technique for the obturation of primary teeth. Hence, the main aim of this systematic review is to ind out the best obturation technique among the various obturation techniques that are being used.…”

“…Tendency for extrusion beyond the apexGandhi M et al (2017) conducted an in vivo study for the comparison and evaluation of efficacy of 3 different obturation methods i.e. Lentulo spiral, Past inject and Disposble syringe.Maximum number of underfilled canals were seen with lentulospiral and maximum number of overfilled canals was seen with disposable syringe.…”
