“…In this clinic‐based study, we described a series of patients with BRV and assessed the evolution of their clinical symptoms over a follow‐up period of 32.5 months. Our results showed that BRV can occur throughout an individual's lifespan (range: 20‐73 years) and predominantly affects middle‐aged females (female:male ratio: 2.6:1) (mean age: 35.2 years), which are in line with the results of prior studies …”

“…Unlike previous studies, this study included BRV patients with at least five episodes. Interictal vestibular examinations were conducted in accordance with those conducted in other clinic‐based studies, and the abnormal findings in vestibular function between attacks were not considered to be the exclusion criteria . Patients with previous diagnosis of vestibular migraine fulfilled ICHD‐3 version were excluded .…”

“…Typically, the mean duration of vertigo symptoms from an acute attack clinically in patients will last up to 30 days . However, the mean duration of recurrent vestibulopathy has been shown to be 4.2 years . Although the asymmetry in SCC diameters may suggest a correlative asymmetry in vestibular input to account for the circling in these mice, it likely is not the only factor leading to the observed vestibulopathic behavior.…”

“…They were diagnosed with definite Meniere's disease (MD) [10] in 58 (left 32, right 26), vestibular neuritis [11] in 18 (left 10, right 8), recurrent vestibulopathy [12] in 10 (left 6, right 4), the vertigo accompanying sudden deaf [13] in 13 (left 6, right 7), vestibular involved inner ear malformation [14] in 5 (left dominant 3, right dominant 7), acoustic neuromas [15] before surgery in 2 (both right), labyrinth involved temporal bone fracture [16] in 2 (both right), delayed endolymphatic hydrops [17] in 2 (both right), idiopathic loss of inner ear function [18] in 2 (both right). The patients with spontaneous nystagmus, eardrum perforation and cervical spondylosis were excluded from the present study.…”
