Abstract:BACKGROUND: Alveolitis is the most common complication that occurs after tooth extraction. Among preventive and therapeutic methods, pharmacological agents for the dry socket treatment have been proposed. However, the gold standard for the prevention and treatment of alveolitis has not been defined.
