“…Cardiac manifestations of ATTR-CM include increased left ventricular wall thickness in the absence of hypertension or valvular heart disease, heart failure symptoms, diastolic dysfunction, atrial fibrillation, conduction system disease, and elevated cardiac biomarkers. Extra-cardiac manifestations include a history of bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome, spinal stenosis, hip or knee replacement, prior shoulder surgery, proteinuria, or peripheral/autonomic neuropathy [2,3,22,32]. The rationale for suggesting the diagnostic tests and criteria for ATTR-CM is based on the expert consensus, as well as the sensitivity and specificity of the tests.…”
