Abstract:Juvenile Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (or Batten disease) is an autosomal recessive, rare neurodegenerative disorder that affects mainly children above the age of 5 years and is most commonly caused by mutations in the highly conserved CLN3 gene.
