Cognitive Activity of the Judge: Epistemological, Moral and Psychological Aspects

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of one of the activities of the judge – his cognitive activity. Three main components of this type of activity are considered: epistemological, moral and psychological. In the analysis of the epistemological aspect of the cognitive activity of the judge, attention is paid to the justification of the need to achieve the truth during the judicial investigation.
