“…Internal consistencies of RT-based switch costs were consistently high (Koo and Li, 2016) with rSB = .93, 95% CI [.89, .96] in the gender task and rSB = .92, 95% CI [.88, .95] [856,913]). Moreover, a significant task x condition interaction, F(1,56) = 5.49, p = .02, indicates higher switch costs in the emotion (mean = 228.61 ± 117.26ms; range 42.96 -798.43; t(81) = -14.22, p < .001) than in the gender task (195.69 ± 125.39ms; range 37.38 -686.57; t(81) = -12.17, p < .001), V = 1177, p = .005 (consistent with Kraft et al, 2020;Eckart et al, 2021 [.78, .89] in the STAI's state score. When included in the repeated measures ANOVAs, none of the scales had a significant effect on affective task-switching behavior (all p ³ .65).…”
