“…It is mediated by immune complexes and it is characterized by subepithelial granular deposition of IgG and complement leading to podocyte injury (1). Collapsing variant of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (cFSGS) is diagnosed in light microscopy by the presence of at least one glomerulus tuff with segmental or global collapse and podocyte hypertrophy or hyperplasia (2).
