Colonialism and Identity Construction of Contemporary German Society in the Novel Der Schrei der Hyänen by Andrea Paluch and Robert Habeck

Abstract: The End of World War I marked the end of German colonialism. This paper aims to describe the perspective of the German youth towards german colonialism and the reconstructed identity of the german nation as a nation that can not be separated from its colonial past.
