<p>Today, the best way to discern the interlinkages between climate change and sustainability and/or sustainable development is the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13—Climate Action framework. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted in 2015 presents a shared blueprint for the peace and prosperity of humanity and the planet both now and in the future. At its core lies the 17 SDGs covering the 169 targets by constituting calls for urgent action in global partnership among developed and developing nations. Within this scope, countries acknowledge the imperative need to engage in strategies that simultaneously eradicate poverty and other deprivations, combat climate change, safeguard oceans, forests, and biodiversity, improve health and education, reduce inequality, and promote sustainable and climate-resilient economic growth. This article will briefly evaluate the various geographical, environmental, educational, and social dimensions of sustainable and climate-resilient socioeconomic development, considering the nexus between combating climate change and adaptation to climate change, as well as the adverse effects of climate change.<strong></strong></p>

Climate change is a concern for all countries in the world. UNESCO is taking part in efforts to increase awareness regarding climate change, one of which is by creating the Greening Education Partnership program. Climate Change Education (CCE) is an effort in the education sector to increase students' awareness of climate change. This article attempts to analyze publication trends regarding CCE and explore other opportunities for further research on the topic of CCE. The method used is the systematic literature review (SLR) method and data analysis using bibliometrics. The data used in this research are documents published by journals on the Scopus database published in 2013-2022. In 2013-2022, 462 documents can be searched in the Scopus database with the keyword ‘climate change education’. The analysis results show that discussions about CCE related to curriculum, learning, and students have been widely studied and published. However, there is no visible academic interaction between the authors. These conditions can be the basis that CCE needs to be implemented thoughtfully to increase awareness of environmental change. Apart from that, its implementation also requires collaborative roles from each sector so that CCE implementation can be carried out optimally. There needs to be a policy to encourage implementation by integrating CCE and the curriculum. Schools and universities encourage teachers and lecturers to deliver CCE in learning by including specific topics that can be related.

Existe consenso en afirmar que las instituciones de educación superior deben participar como agentes activos en la consecución de la Agenda 2030, poniendo todas sus misiones al servicio de la sociedad. Esto requiere una transformación de la política universitaria en el marco de su responsabilidad social, que afecta de manera significativa al ámbito de la formación y exige un mayor compromiso con la satisfacción de las necesidades sociales. El objetivo de esta investigación consiste en demostrar que el Aprendizaje-Servicio es una propuesta que aporta valor a la sociedad por su alto potencial formador y por promover la construcción de conocimiento de forma colaborativa entre agentes educativos y sociales. La metodología utilizada consistió en la revisión sistemática, de la literatura académica contenida en bases de datos de referencia y de los proyectos llevados a cabo en Europa y América Latina en el ámbito universitario. Como resultado, se presentan evidencias de que el Aprendizaje-Servicio es una metodología válida para que las universidades participen en la consecución de cada uno de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.
