Commentary: Percutaneous supraclavicular subclavian intra-aortic balloon pump insertion—A straighter route to fewer complications?

Abstract: Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABPs) are circulatory support devices that may potentially improve coronary and systemic perfusion in patients with cardiogenic shock.
