Abstract: Analisa-se como o Brasil tem enfrentado a carência de médicos nas tentativa de superar a situação de forma articulada com as políticas de saúde e estratégias de formação e fixação desses profissionais, de acordo com as necessidades do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).
