Compact arc‐shaped antenna with binomial curved conductor‐backed plane for multiband wireless applications

Abstract: This study proposes a novel design of compact printed multiband monopole antenna with binomial curved conductor‐backed plane which generates five wide resonant frequency bands for |S11| ≤ −10 dB to cover 2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz wireless local area network, 2.5/3.5/5.5 GHz worldwide interoperability for microwave access and ultra‐wideband applications simultaneously.
